As the WUSM community works through the current COVID-19 situation it is critical that the WUSM team continue to be as productive as possible. With that in mind the WUSM IT Support Services team wants to ensure everyone is familiar with their individual methods for working remotely.
The following policies and expectations have been consolidated from several WUSM Human Resources and Information Security policies and standards and are to be used in appropriate business continuity situations such as the COVID-19 situation. Please see the end of this message for a comprehensive list of applicable policies and standards for WUSM remote access.

Remote Access Instructions:
In order to conserve as much bandwidth as possible for critical, clinical functions, WUSM users should review the following chart for available remote connectivity options. Many applications and systems used for WUSM operations are available via non-WUSM equipment as long as you have activated your Duo account and have a valid ID / Password WUSTL key account. Utilization of the WUSM VPN used only when necessary and only when needed to work within a given application.
Requires / Does Not Require VPN = The user must logon to the Employee VPN on their WUSM provided laptop
Required / Does Not Require Duo = The user must have an active Duo account and have at least one phone number configured within Duo
