New Regulatory Training Available July 5th!

The OnCore team has invested much time and effort to develop this improved training, and we are excited to release it this coming Wednesday.  Previous videos that were used to train new Regulatory Coordinators were created by OnCore's parent company, Advarra, and were not WashU-specific.  Our updated videos show new users clear, step-by-step instructions on how to create a new protocol using the minimum footprint, submit a new protocol to PRMC (Oncology only), enter IRB reviews, and complete protocol sign-offs, which we think will benefit Regulatory users more.

The format is similar to the Clinical Team, instructor-led training in that the user will follow along with the video instructor, completing the steps while using the designated handout.  However, this training is not instructor-led, so users can watch the video and work at their own pace, which is another improvement that will accommodate different schedules and learning styles.  Work completed during the training will be checked afterward by a member of our team, to ensure understanding.

While this training is intended for new hires or people that are new to the Regulatory role, current staff members can also use it to brush up on any skills they feel are rusty.  The video does not need to be watched in its entirety if being used as a review tool.

To sign up for this training, please contact OST, click this link: OnCore Regulatory Role Training Request, or log in to Learn@Work and search for 'OnCore Regulatory Role Training Request,' which will bring up a form for you to fill out.  After the form is completed, OST will contact you within 1 business day with instructions and your assigned protocol for the training.  Once training is completed, please contact OST again so that we may create your account or add that role to it.
