Financial Console Updates Post-Upgrade

OnCore has successfully been updated to Version 2022R3.  You can now continue to finalize/amend/void invoices and post payments as needed.  This version introduces a few changes to the Financials Console, detailed below.

• Protocol Related Events - IRB Review Trigger

  • Previously, any IRB Review already entered prior to a Protocol Related Event using the IRB Review Trigger did not trigger an invoiceable

  • Now the IRB Review trigger will retroactively create invoiceable items for existing reviews that meet the criteria for the trigger.

• Screen Fail Parameters Always Editable

  • Previously, the Screen Failure related fields in the Parameters tab of the Financials Console were not editable after an invoice had been created.

  • Now you can edit these fields anytime needed
    

• Unreleased Budgets Now Appropriately Labeled

  • Previously, unreleased budgets were paradoxically labeled “Released” in the Subject Related tab of the Financials and Coverage Analysis Consoles

  • Now they are labeled “Unreleased”
    

• Specify Milestone Items that Require Invoicing

  • This is an information-only field that can be used to designate which Milestone Items the sponsor needs to receive an invoice for (versus being paid automatically)

  • This designation can be made in the Milestones tab or once on the Invoiceable Items tab of the Financials Console

  • This does not drive any functionality and can be ignored.  We will not include on the WashU downloadable invoice.
    
    

• Invoicing Rules Tab Loads Much Quicker (used to take several minutes)!
