TARGET AUDIENCE
This program is intended for infectious diseases physicians, registered nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals who provide care for patients with or prone to infectious diseases. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • discuss the epidemiology and diagnosis of prosthetic joint infections, 
  • identify common and unusual causes of prosthetic joint infections, along with non-infectious conditions, 
  • demonstrate best practices in determining therapeutic regimen and
  • discuss current, unresolved issues in long-term management.
